Euchre- every Monday at Millen Centre from 1-4 p.m.  Cost $2.00 per person.  Lots of Fun.  "Don't Worry, Be Happy"

Pot Luck Supper - 2nd Friday of every month at the Millen Centre at 5:30 p.m.  Cost $3.00 per person..  Fun and cards to follow meal.

Tai-Chi - Every Tuesday at Millen Centre from 1-2:30 p.m.  Call Mariette Renaud at Lakeshore for details.

Saturday, November 3rd, the Annual Bazaar and Luncheon at the Woodslee United Church from 9 a.m. 1:30 p.m. Lunch served from 11:00 a.m - 1:30 p.m.

Friday November 9th - a Pot Luck Supper at thte Millden Centre to Honour our Veterans in a special way.  Please plan on showing your respect as a community.  Flag raising starts at 5 p.m. sharp followed by our delicious meal and the program follows with honorariums and bagpipes.  All before Remembrance Day.  Names of Veterans to be  submitted to Joanne McMurren or Donna ASAP

Sunday, November 11th - the Annual Bazaar and Luncheon at St. John's from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Lunch is served throughout the entire day.  Baking, crafts, raffles, and the famous Rosemary's Table.

Thursday, November 22 - Special Library Meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Essex Civic Centre - upstairs in the council chambers Discussion night concerning the closure of 5 small libraries in Woodslee, Cottam, Ruthven, McGregor and Stoney Point.  Please come out and show your presence because the petitions and emails did not seem to be enough.  Flood the room to show the Library Baord that as taxpayers and residents, we are truly concerned this will cause hardships for many families.  The buildings are in place already.  They have 25 million dollars to spend.

Friday, December 7th - Woodslee Friendship Club's Annual Christmas Dinner at 6 p.m. St. John's Hall.  Cost is $15.00 for members and $16.00 for non-members.  Music and fun.

We welcome suggestions and ideas to help make our clubs grow in spirit, wisdom and numbers.  Contact any member of The Woodslee Friendship Clud (est.1983) or The Friends of Woodslee.  Both groups share the same comon goal of friendship within our community and beyond.  Let's make a difference in our lifetime together.
